Madden 19 Move Chargers Back to San Diego

Wasnt the whole point of limiting the Relocation teams to 3 pre-selected names per location and 3 pre-selected uniforms each to make it easier to provide TV presentation in terms of visual and audio from the commentators? Instead of the full expansion team creation control we've had in the past. Im going to start with the most obvious moves a player would make, and thats having to manually move the Raiders to Las Vegas and building the Rams and Chargers a new stadium. When I moved the Raiders to Las Vegas, the pregame graphics and Coach audio still says Oakland Raiders. I put the Raiders in a closed dome to be accurate. Yeah I could have kept the Raiders in Oakland, but I like the idea of running their asses out of the Bay that belongs to the 49ers. We wont talk about that Santa Clara nonsense.

I gave the Rams the futuristic open air stadium. For the Chargers, they belong in San Diego, so I moved them back to San Diego with their Charger name intact. Youre welcome San Diego. Oddly the score ticker changes their abbreviation to SDG. WTF with that G? Unfortunately the pregame graphics and audio still say Los Angeles Chargers. What was so hard about getting that right? In MLB The Show, the announcer can say all variations of first and last names and sound relatively seamless, was it so hard to record the city names separately from the team name and then have the game pair the audios together? Especially since they gave every team the chance to go to a new city and keep their name, this is the laziest part of the relocation presentation.

For the expansion teams, they KNOW what the uniforms will look like, and yet you can still get this.

Fortunately sometimes they just show the logos, and when I first saw my new league last night (just bought game last month), they showed the Celtic Tigers logo properly for this screen.

So who became the Memphis Steamers? I'll start by saying the moves I made was to rid the league of ugly names or uniforms or helmets while keeping the teams geographically in their divisions more less. We all expect the Jaguars to move some day. Maybe to London. But that doesnt fit with being in the AFC South, so I kept them in the south to be the Memphis Steamers, who have good looking uniforms, and it gets rid of the stupidest helmet design in the NFL.

The Cardinals is a STUPID weakass name that has no business being in the NFL. Their logo and helmet is weak as fuck. And since they love being black, yet dont deserve it, I made them the Austin Desperados, so they can embrace their black side and look and sound much better doing it. I can actually enjoy playing their franchise twice a year now.

The Browns are the most retarded team in the NFL, name themselves Browns, yet feature orange as their primary color, with the lamest plainest helmet in the NFL. Also going with my theme of getting teams further apart, especially in the 2 team cities, I made the Browns the Salt Lake City Pioneers. This way, the world is rid of the Browns franchise name, and they can keep their love of orange, with more actual brown ironically, and look much better doing it. I gave them an open air stadium, so Im hoping for a lot more snow games in Salt Lake City.

J-E-T-S JEST JEST JEST!!! No one respects the Jets. We never will. New York is a punk, having to have 2 teams for the NFL and MLB and always shitting on one franchise and praising the other. So I got the Jets out of town, and moved them to Dublin, to still be green and AFC East, but look better doing it. No one will miss the Jets name. Im not entirely a fan of the double name nicknames, but the logo and uniform I picked for the Dublin Celtic Tigers was too sexy to leave them rotting as the stepchild in New York.

Because Europe has two good looking team options, I really wanted someone to be the London Black Knights. I usually picked the Knights type logo in past games when I usually just moved the Jags, so this was an obvious choice for me. I pretended to be outraged at that racist Redskins name lol, and I moved the Redskins to London to look and sound much sexier. Also, until the real world figures out where Nick Foles, LeVeon Bell, and Antonio Brown are going, I moved all three to the Black Knights, to give London a good show and make the team stronger for higher odds to see this team in playoffs yearly. Ax Miff is riding the bench again. (Get well soon bro, but you should really retire now after that gruesome injury) I gave the Knights an open air stadium, and in both tests to play and get screenshots, the game was raining. I guess they figure it will rain 90% of the time in London if you dont give them a dome lol.

Controlling all 32 teams is really the way to go to have franchise fun in this game when you want to tool around like this. Despite some laziness in the relocation presentation, this is the best effort for all these expansion teams we've ever had. Toronto Huskies looked good too, but I didnt want to move anyone else, the teams I chose deserved it. The rest of the team options with their college color schemes were just too woof woof. Clearly I like black.

In closing, WTF with Andy Reid retiring out of the game? In advancing my league to 2020, somehow I lost Andy when I opened the options to fire coaches when I was trying to figure out how that worked. I guess Andy said FUCK IT after my 49ers beat the Chiefs for the 2018 Super Bowl :) Sadly all the firings we've had so far cant be done because there are no coordinators to promote and the created coach pool is too small and weak to fire guys with real faces. I also lost Marvin Lewis, but fuck that guy. I also fired Hue Jackson because fuck that guy too. Is the reason Belichick is never in these games is because he's so damn competitive and domineering, he doesnt want anyone controlling him, even in a game lol?
